The frontman of KISS, Gene Simmons had a strong message for anti-Trump celebrities. All through-out this elections celebrities went on camera and shared there obnoxious liberal political opinions, claiming that Trump supporters are divisive all while creating stereotypes about Trump supporters, telling lies about Trump and more.
But the real annoyance is the smugness that they think everyone cares about their opinions just because they are celebrities. This is a concept that Gene Simmons certainly understands. “I think celebrities should basically shut their pie holes and do what they do best—act, sing, tap dance… all that kind of stuff,” said Simmons.
He went on to attack all the people who are protesting the election, and who are mad that the electoral college had a different result than the popular vote. “The Founding Fathers in their wisdom actually did many things right, including creating the Electoral College,” Simmons explained.
“The Electoral College has spoken. It was created to circumvent all sorts of issues, including the popular vote,” he said.
“President-elect Trump is the president. You can like it, you cannot like it. He’s the new president, that’s the end of the story,” Simmons explained. The electoral college makes it so policy isn’t completely dominated by the bigger cities group think. Instead people’s opinions are properly represented all throughout the country.
